In my spare time, I'm making a lot of loping gifs these days. I've been hearing from lots of folks who want to know how I'm making these little moving images. Making them has been so much fun, so I figured I'd try and share a little of what I know. Keep in mind that this is, of course, just ONE WAY of making animated gifs, so it's hardly authoritative or exhaustive. Mostly it's just a working method that I've discovered--and it's bound to change over time. I'll update again when I figure out some new things. "Like" my page on Facebook [link] to check out when I'm putting stuff like this up. Also, feel free to drop a line and ask questions about whatever.

I did some simple gifs in Photoshop under 24/sec speed, and found that 12/sec is indeed better (and less labor)
It's sooo time consuming but also soo much fun...It's also really frustrating especially when adjusting the timing and gestures. I don't mind draw a lot though
I love One Piece, too! I'm an adult and I cry and laugh like an idiot when reading One Piece.
Oh and I bought a copy of your Doodle Quest, I love the lovely shapes in your drawings! And they're fun to look Thanks for putting your doodles together, sometimes I found myself stuck in endless redos in Photoshop, this book reminds me to try real ink drawings and start filling up sketchbooks.
